What the tool does
The tool turns an audio recording into a waveform image. You can choose classic waves, bars, neon, radial layouts, timelines, and other styles, then save a PNG with a transparent background.
How to use it
- Add an audio file in a format supported by your browser.
- Choose a style, image size, background, and palette.
- Check the waveform preview.
- Download the PNG for a post, cover, presentation, or video edit.
Formats and image layouts
The visualizer creates a waveform image from MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, WebM, and other files your browser can open. It analyzes the recording locally and draws a PNG: a classic wave, bars, radial layout, timeline, or poster-style cover.
Choose the canvas size for the channel: a wide banner for a site or YouTube, 1080 x 1080 square for feeds, or 1080 x 1920 vertical for stories and short videos. A transparent background is useful when the waveform needs to sit on a podcast cover, video edit, or brand template.
Quality, privacy, and limits
The audio is not uploaded to a server; reading and rendering happen in the browser. The final image quality depends on PNG size, style, palette, and background contrast, not on the source bitrate once the file has been decoded successfully.
Very long recordings and large uncompressed WAV files can use a lot of memory. If the browser slows down, make a shorter fragment in an editor or trim the audio first, then visualize the exact part you need for a post, presentation, or messenger share. This is especially useful for episode teasers, quote cards, and still frames that will later go into a video editor.
