How PDF compression works
The tool starts with document analysis: it counts pages, estimates scan-like pages, and derives a baseline DPI. You then control two clear settings: target page resolution and image quality. JPEG uses quality, PNG reduces the color palette, and the forecast shows the expected file size before compression starts.
How to use
- Add one or more PDF files and wait for analysis.
- Adjust page resolution and image quality while watching the saving forecast.
- Press Compress, then download the result or change the settings and run another version.
