What this tool does
The image converter helps quickly turn HEIC, HEIF, static images from Live Photo, JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, and SVG into JPG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF without uploading them to a server.

How to choose the output format
JPG is a good choice for regular photos, product cards, cover images, and website assets when transparency is not needed. PNG is better for graphics, screenshots, logos, and images with a transparent background. WebP often reduces file size without a major quality loss, and AVIF can be even smaller when your browser supports encoding.
If a source PNG or WebP contains transparency, do not save it as JPG when you still need a transparent background: JPG does not support an alpha channel. For older CMS platforms and documents, JPG or PNG is often the safest choice; for modern websites and landing pages, WebP is usually more efficient.
HEIC, Live Photo, and modern formats
The converter can work with HEIC and HEIF from iPhone, the still image inside a Live Photo, plus JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, and SVG. This is useful when a service does not accept HEIC or when you need files ready for a website, marketplace, presentation, or social media post.
A Live Photo contains both a photo and a video, but this tool extracts only the still image. For AVIF, HEIC, and some SVG files, the result depends on browser capabilities and available memory. If a file cannot be read, try another modern browser or export the source to JPG/PNG first.
Batch conversion and privacy
Add many files, choose one output format, and download every converted image as a ZIP archive. The workflow fits catalogs, product photos, blog images, design mockups, documents, email campaigns, and assets that must match platform requirements.
Conversion runs locally in the browser: files are not uploaded to the All Tools server. The practical limit depends on image size, device memory, and output format support. Large batches and AVIF output can take longer than regular JPG or PNG conversion.
