What the tool does
The QR code generator helps prepare codes for websites, business cards, Wi-Fi, print, and presentations. You can set size, margin, error correction, colors, and download format.

QR types and data
The generator creates QR codes for plain text, links, Wi‑Fi networks, and vCard contacts. For a URL you only need the address; for Wi‑Fi, enter the network name, password, and encryption type; for a contact, add name, phone, email, and organization.
A QR code does not encrypt its content. Anyone who scans the image can read the link, contact details, or Wi‑Fi password that you placed inside it.
Print, size, and error correction
For print, choose a large enough size, strong contrast, and a clear quiet zone around the code. SVG is useful for layouts, business cards, stickers, and other print work because it scales without blur; PNG is convenient for documents, slides, and chat messages.
Error correction helps a code remain scannable when part of it is covered, dirty, or printed imperfectly. Higher correction makes the QR denser, so long data may need a larger image.
Testing with a camera
Before printing or publishing, scan the QR code with a phone camera and, if possible, more than one scanner app. Confirm that the link opens correctly, the Wi‑Fi code joins the intended network, and the vCard saves the expected fields.
Avoid low-contrast colors, placing a logo over important modules without testing, or cropping the quiet zone. Most QR problems are found during this camera check rather than while generating the file.
