    What the tool does

The video trimmer helps prepare clips for social media, stories, presentations, websites, or messaging. The browser can open MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM, OGV, and other formats supported by your device, then export the result as MP4 or WebM when the format is available in the current browser.

    How to use it

    1. Add a video file or drag it into the upload area.
    2. Choose the start and end of the clip on the timeline or with exact time fields.
    3. Select the output format, frame size, and quality if needed.
    4. Start trimming and download the finished clip.

Formats, frame size, and clip quality

The trimmer is for quickly cutting a piece from a video for Reels, Shorts, stories, presentations, websites, or messengers. MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM, OGV, and other input videos open when the browser and device support them. Export is available as MP4 or WebM when the selected format is supported by the current browser.

Frame size affects file weight: original keeps more detail, 1080p is good for higher-quality posting, 720p is often enough for social media, and 480p is convenient for quick sharing. The quality setting controls encoding bitrate: smaller files can show more artifacts in motion and small text.

    Local processing and limits

Video is processed locally through browser APIs, canvas, and MediaRecorder; the file is not uploaded to the All Tools server. This is useful for personal videos, work demos, and quick clips you do not want to send to a third-party service.

Very long, 4K, or unusually encoded videos can be heavy for the browser. If export does not start or the tab slows down, choose a smaller frame size, make the clip shorter, or try a desktop browser with more available memory.
