A resume that fits your experience

Build a resume free, without registration or watermarks. Start with your work experience, your first projects or a career change. Choose from five layouts, turn individual sections and fields on or off, and preview the same PDF that you download. Drafts remain in this browser; export a project backup if you want to continue on another device.

How to create your resume

  1. Choose a starting structure and enter your name, target role and contact details.
  2. Add experience, education, skills and any other relevant sections. Hide information you do not want to include.
  3. Choose a template, optional photo, document language and paper size. Review every page.
  4. Check the suggestions and download your PDF. Keep a separate project backup for future edits.

Choose content before decoration

An experienced applicant may lead with recent roles and achievements. For a first job, education, practical projects and volunteering can communicate relevant experience. A career change may call for transferable skills and projects near the beginning. Starting structures are suggestions: you can reorder sections without changing the facts.

Use concise examples of what you did and the outcome. Include measurable results only when they are accurate. Do not add invented qualifications or fill every optional field simply because it exists. Dates can use a year or a year and month, and ongoing roles can say Present.

Photo or no photo: your choice

Photo expectations depend on the employer and hiring context. A photo is optional, not a requirement of a complete resume. Turning it off removes the reserved space. If you include one, use a clear portrait and check the crop at the size shown on the page.

The photo is resized and processed locally. The exported image is re-encoded rather than embedding the original file and its metadata. A full home address, date of birth or family status is not required by this tool.

Readable PDF and simplified layout

The PDF contains selectable text rather than a screenshot of the whole page. Fonts are embedded and supported links remain clickable. A4 and Letter are available. Preview and download use the same generated document, including its page breaks.

For an application system, consider the simplified layout: one column, standard headings and no photo or decorative sidebar. Different applicant tracking systems parse files differently, so no template guarantees successful parsing or selection. Follow the employer’s requested file format.

Control length without hiding your experience

There is no forced one-page limit. Longer content continues on additional pages. Use the page count and review the full document before sending it. Compact spacing is available, but the tool does not silently shrink text to force it onto one sheet.

Keep a separate version for each application if needed. Duplicating a draft preserves the original while you select relevant projects or hide older entries. Hidden sections, entries and fields remain editable in the project but are excluded from the PDF.

Local drafts and document language

Drafts and photos are saved in this browser on this device. Private browsing, storage limits or clearing browser data can remove them. Download a project backup to retain an editable copy. The backup includes hidden information and should be treated as a private working file, not as the resume to send to an employer.

The document language controls standard section headings and date labels independently of the website interface. It does not translate your own descriptions, custom headings or qualifications. Review those texts yourself before sending a resume in another language.
